Hawstone Universal Crossover (Interlocking Upgrades)

Description

The objective of this project is to install a new crossover to make Control Point (CP) Hawstone interlocking a universal interlocking, increasing flexibility for Amtrak trains to use multiple mainline tracks and avoid conflicts with freight trains near Lewistown station.

Specifically, a new power crossover will be installed and an existing turnout upgraded for a siding track. This will include interlocking modifications, and associated civil, track, and site work.
